What is RACSEL?

The American Network of Cooperation on Electronic Health (RACSEL), hereinafter referred to as RACSEL, is an initiative of the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) supported by the Inter-American Development Bank. It is established as a systematic horizontal technical cooperation mechanism through which exchanges are promoted, multiplied, strengthened, and energized, aimed at developing, disseminating, and implementing best practices in digital health to support institutional development processes and their progress in the region.

 

MISSION:

 

The mission of the American Network of Cooperation on Electronic Health (RACSEL) is an initiative of the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) supported by the Inter-American Development Bank. It is constituted as a systematic horizontal technical cooperation mechanism through which exchanges are promoted, multiplied, strengthened, and energized, aimed at developing, disseminating, and implementing best practices in digital health to support institutional development processes and their progress in the region.

 

VISION:

 

To be one of the main global networks of cooperation in electronic and digital health, and a reference in the dissemination, promotion, and adoption of standards, through dialogue, coordination, and the exchange of knowledge and experiences

Pre-Conectaton Pruebas Finales: Preparación en Chile

 

Durante dos intensas jornadas, representantes del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo, ingenieros de CENS, monitores y monitoras se reunieron en la sede Santiago de la Universidad de Concepción para realizar el pretest de la Conectatón, que tendrá lugar el próximo mes en El Salvador.

 

En esta instancia se probaron todos los componentes esenciales: servidores, plataformas, librerías y la interacción entre países. El equipo recorrió el ciclo completo de pruebas, anticipando ajustes y asegurando un funcionamiento óptimo para este gran evento internacional.
